Saw "Gifted" last night! I think it is now my favorite Chris Evans' film. It was very good. The acting was amazing.
I was a bit sad they released so many clips because I felt I had seen the first part of the film already but what I hadn't seen was soooo good.
Frank and Mary have the sweetest relationship and very "real". I loved it.
I liked the complexity of it all and the way it made me think about what is best for a gifted child.
No one character was right or wrong and it explored why they felt what they did. Very well done.
Chris does emotion so well. Subtle and yet powerful. Fred was the highlight of the movie for me!

Gifted Fox Searchlight $3,079,308 +590% 1,146 $2,687 $4,449,330 It has a really great Friday jump (had already gone wide on Wed) and a good Sunday drop and w/e multiplier for Easter so I hope that means good word of mouth is spreading It's supposed to expand to 1600 theaters next w/e, though there are about 5 other films going wide next weekend as well.

Saw it 2nd time today. Matinee but it was nearly full. Good reaction from the audience. I liked it even better the second time. Shed a few more tears this time too.
