Filming in New York, Time Square.
Films of filming the film. And the scene itself!

MTV: Chris Evans interviewed by Josh Horowitz (July 2011) 28 minutes (all the segments combined) I particularly appreciate that post because for some reason MTV don't like sharing their videos with viewers outside the USA so we just get a little message saying we can't view that video!! Now we have it ... forever!!! Thank you. 👍

‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ Should Be The ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’ Of Fourth of July And That’s ThatBy Meghan O'Keefe @megsokay Jul 3, 2017 at 11:30am Captain America: The First Avenger should be the It’s A Wonderful Life of Fourth of July films and that’s that. It should be screened every year on broadcast television and its arrival should signal that fireworks are about to go off. It should be as ubiquitous as A Christmas Story is in the 48 hours surrounding Christmas Day. A cable network should play it non-stop for a whole day and then maybe — just maybe – follow it up with a screening of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War. School children should be taught every word of dialogue of this modern American masterpiece and there should be a musical version on Broadway. Captain America: The First Avenger should be our one, our only “Fourth of July movie.” We don’t really have Fourth of July films. Sure, Independence Day takes place on Independence Day and there’s a vast library of all-American war movies we can queue up to salute the red, white, and blue (and okay, my family likes to watch the daffy ’70s musical 1776). You can watch these films at any time of the year and they still offer the same experience. There’s no canon of films that scream, “It’s the Fourth of July!” At least, not like there is for Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas. Which is insane to me because we have a pitch perfect film for the holiday staring right at us. Did I mention it’s called Captain America: The First Avenger? That's a really interesting piece and his conclusion holds a lot of weight. It's always seem so odd that the comics refuse to take full advantage of the enormous popularity of the films to the point where sometimes they seem to be proactively repelling new fans who come from the movies. Thorough there are also a lot of long term comic fans who also hate this new spin. This article also lead me to one I hadn't read before, his apology piece for his article - Why Captain America Is Only Interesting When He''s A Prick.
