it could be the twitter circles i am in. but the pic with biden was pretty controversial. i think he unnecessarily lost a lot of fans. i understand it's a difficult situation, but i don't think it's too hard to take the position of asking for a ceasefire. i understand saying something 1 cm in the wrong direction and you're an antisemite, and 1 cm too much in the other direction and you're anti islamic. i would agree he's not obligated to say anything, i just feel bad that he lost some fans unnecessarily. i do want to make it clear that i personally think the approach of the west in gaza right now is wrong. i think biden could be doing more, but sadly the reality of what is happening over there is the end result of humanity's tendency to constantly flirt with right wing authoritarians and ideologies. i understand a mod may lock this thread or delete this post.
