Thanks for doing that, podcasts tend to get buried and lost after a while so ๐๐ป๐

I loved this interview, I see why Chris enjoyed doing it so much....it was so relaxed and candid, even though there wasn't a ton of new information I still liked hearing some more details. And I loved Dodger interrupting with his barking and Chris scolding him lol. For some reason it made me happy hearing his bark, unless I'm mistaken that's the first time his bark has been heard by us fans. Only his cute howling has been recorded and shared before.

Such a great interview! It reminded me of his interviews with Steven Weintraub (from Collider). I really like it when he has time to talk and expand on some stories I've heard so many times. I could have listened to them talk for hours. I hope he'll do more podcasts in the future. I'd love to hear him on Armchair Expert or Unqualified again.

Agree with the above comments. Chris opens up when you treat him like a normal person and talk to him about films. The interviewer had no other 'agenda.'
I feel a great affinity with people like this interviewer and Steve Weintraub. It's kind of more where my head is. If I'm to be totally honest one of my disappointments with twitter was that I was never able to successfully strike up any kind of conversation with like minded people like Steve and a couple of other film world guys who I know are Evans fans. Maybe my efforts missed the mark but I always had it at the back of my mind that they see you're a fan site and so put you in a mental box labelled 'airhead'.

I will admit I rarely watch or listen to Chris' interviews. They are usually cringe-worthy and go over the same old stuff, even interviewers like Kimmel or Fallon. That's why I'm not looking forward to Friday's Graham Norton show. However, this was a really good interview, and yes, I can see why Chris said he enjoyed it. I've not heard him openly discuss his panic attacks before with such honesty. Dodger wanted in - and yeah that was cute - it's almost as if he wanted attention too! (And, yes, Thomasin I do believe it's the first time we've heard Dodger bark!) I will have to listen again, but it'll be a pleasure to listen to it again!

The junket interviews are rarely groundbreaking and you do hear the same questions time after time and the same answers often word for word. Steve Weintraub's interviews are always good. He is a film fan, loves Chris and they get on well so Chris is at ease. We have a thread with all his interviews just in case you haven't seen it. chris-evans.boards.net/thread/238/collider-videos-steve-weintraub
