Twenty years ago!! The teenage Evans giving it his all for a little educational film. Genius in the making. I remember him saying that he really thought he'd made the big time when they got free sandwiches for lunch!
Biodiversity - Wild About Life (1997)

Interview about Chris' first credit and how he got his braces off just to do it while in the 7th grade. So 12-13 years old.

Damn, just want to pinch his cheeks! That is some adorkable Evans there. I swear my brother had that same terrible 90's curtain haircut, classic. ...and even so early on you can see those fledgling acting chops. Bless

You know I was thinking. No seriously, it's true! Chris said it was seventh grade but he was born in 1981 so in 1997 he would have been 15 or 16 so it was more likely to have been 9th grade. Had to research US grade system for this gem of information. In England and Wales we start in reception and then years 1- 6 in Primary School then Years 7-11 in High School then years 12-13 are called sixth form (for historical reasons). See - you come on here to find out what Evans had for breakfast this morning (a bowl of Cheerios and then eggs) and get a rundown of English school grade system. What other site gives you this?!!

You were also thrown by the release date, sometimes we forget it can take years for these things to come out, just like films. By the time he was 16, Chris was already writing letters to talent agencies looking for summer internships. Look at him here - would you let that face go live in NYC alone?

Got my hands on a DVD (720 x 480) quality copy of this. Gave elasticheart , Picap , Bob at least 1,000 screencaps and the Original dvd source footage so....improvement? Just inserted one screencap for now but I know the board shrank it

Once you click on the image, it shows the full resolution. So it wasn't shrunk, the full image quality is still there, just hidden.

OK, I've now replaced the video in the first post with gwendolynmstacy's new DVD. The quality is noticeably better.
