You may have noted that the video section has been expanding recently. This is mostly due to gwendolynmstacy working hard to flag up and collect interviews. π However, tt has anyway been on my mind for a long time that when we post videos promoting films we quite naturally post them in the relevant film thread. The problem is that it can make them hard to find in later years. You can remember a particular interview but not necessarily remember which film or year it was. So my intention is to try from now on to try to post videos in both. Or maybe for each film have a dedicated video thread with all the junkets etc in one place. It would be a huge job to go back and do stuff already out so I don't know if I'll have time for that but it's something to think about for the future. If anyone thinks this is a totally shit idea let me know. On the same topic, if there is a video which is embedded in an interview or just generally hard to link we try our best to get a version and put it on our Vimeo account and then use that in our posts. They're the ones with the Chris Evans Forum logo in the corner. BUT often these videos later appear officially on Youtube. So I have a request. If I have posted a video using just our vimeo account and you later find the same video on Youtube on the official account of the interviewers (not just another fan account) can you let me know. I'd rather use the YT link to both be safer in terms of copyright and also fair to allow the poster the 'clicks' they deserve.

I might try to do one myself later on tonight. I thought I'd start with TFA. My idea is just to collect links to interviews we have in the TFA thread and have a TFA thread in 'Videos'. If you want to pick any other film and do the same that would be cool.

I thought about doing a huge big thread and adding posts to it (one post per film eg βTFA Links in one postβ βTWSβ in another) and moving down the line film wise

I'm thinking if I'm doing a video thread for each film I might as well throw all the videos we have not just the interviews. I'll try to organise them carefully which is easier to do for the older ones.

Hi! Long time lurker and fan of this forum and you members for a few years now! I was wondering if any of you remember an interview where Chris mentioned having worked at a print t-shirt shop or something like that? Was discussing his career with someone who said he didn't know what a regular job was and this popped in my head, is my brain making this up? I could swear it was a really old video interview (before CA) and it might of just been part-time or every once in a while... Anyhow thanks in advance for any response and keep up the great work!

Welcome I've never heard about Chris working at a print T-Shirt shop. It was in an interview with Chris Hemsworth doing AOU Press where he says he never held down a real job - which I gather meant non show biz - since he interned at a Casting Agency after his Junior year and before that worked as summer theater camp counselor putting on plays.

Lurkers are more than welcome. Like Picap I don't ever recall Chris talking about working in a print T-shirt shop. Just remember him talking about the agency and the summer camp that Picap referred to.

hello, are you guys also disappointed of the news re Chris lately? i actually don't care about his personal life, but just got sad coz while the world is taking this pandemic seriously, looks like for me he's using his white privileged card, and the thought of it just makes me disappointed π

I have expressed them elsewhere.
This is a forum primarily for his work and career, not his personal life, so I'm sorry to say we won't be discussing this here.
