All of this is getting seriously exciting now! The reviews are universally great. With a cast including Octavia Spencer, Lindsay Duncan and that guy from Boston - what's his name? - Steve Evans! surely they should start to smell a commercial success and push it out more widely. We live in hope.
I think you mean Chris Evans! Did you know that he's Scott Evans' big brother? Apparently he plays some sort of superhero. It's also very confusing for us Brits as there's another Chris Evans.

😂😂 I work with kids (can you tell?) and I remember around about the time the first Avengers came out, the big breakthrough was whenever I mentioned Chris Evans and kids straightaway presumed you were talking about 'our Chris' rather than the red haired car-freak. Big breakthrough!
On those 'it's OK to show videos because it's nearly Christmas/Easter/Summer' days I'd always show kids Cellular or Push or any other part of my Evans indoctrination classes then after The Avengers - my work was done!

Do you know what, guys. I went to see Logan tonight. I loved it. Yes, I cried when she said 'dad'. Two real man sized tears from my right eye down my cheek. I was thinking, you know, the 'father/daughter' thing made me think of Gifted. Also I thought I really loved how the superpower story took on a really vulnerable, honest, human story and that powered it more than the superpowers and I thought I think I may have had it with the worlds exploding and a 60 person team of superheroes bashing my eyeballs into what's left of my brain. I am definitely looking forward to Gifted a hundred times more than the next next Marvel bonanza. Forgive me Father Lee for I have sinned but I'm feeling less Marvelous than before.

You'll get into trouble one day! Maybe Chris will help you out if you do?
I saw Logan too and I kinda know what you mean. It was a great film because it went deeper. Isn't that what they say about Winter Soldier though? You can have as many explosions and CGI as you can physically do but in the end you have to actually care. A rule of thumb is caring. Films are prone to failing if nobody actually gives a shit what the main characters do. - Sorry about the swearing but isn't it great we don't get the *beep* of IMDb. You could rip a person's heart out with your words as long as you didn't swear.
So yeah, I have to say like you I won't be shedding too many tears when Chris and Marvel finally part company. By the time that happens I think it will definitely be time to move on though he'll have had a huge success and will be Captain America for a generation or two.

Nah, give me all the Captain America possible. I love the character and the films he's been in. As this rate any way with all the new MCU franchises it would slow down to maybe one film every 3 years anyway instead of the back to back he's been doing and that's more than enough time for Chris to make other films if he so chooses. Even with the next Avengers coming up he'll have had almost 2 years off between filming them and CW.

yeah, you two have sinned. so the most overrated, overexposed comic hero of all time finally gets a halfway decent movie, even though he's been front and center in nearly every x-movie. and the success of logan means that will be the case for the foreseeable future of x-movies. and his replacement is... a female version of him. and i never understood why it's considered daring to kill off characters when the actors playing them have stated their intention to retire from the role. it would be more impressive if wolverine and professor x were dead dead and never coming back. ofc i'm joking (sort of ). i'm glad people like the movie, but me personally i've really had enough of wolverine. and seriously, killing characters (sorry for spoilers) in "alternate realities" never did it for me. to me it's a low blow in the first place; the character doesn't really "die," and if a miracle script and deal came along, you could bet your bottom that jackman would be in the mcu lickety-split (has even said as much), and his fate in logan rendered meaningless. which is the problem with comics in the first place.

bethnorOh, I don't know. I just don't know anything anymore. I just have this aching void deep inside left by Tommy. He was my tortoise who died when I was four. Maybe me and Marvel need to take a break. Or is that just running away and I need to put my responsibilities to Chris first? Maybe we just need to get away together far from the domestic routine: the piles of empty beer cans, the unopened bills, the pizza boxes, the rodents and the constant noise of the children banging on the door pleading to be let in from the rain and fed when I'm busy watching daytime TV. Maybe I'm just not sure of Marvel's feelings for me!? We need time and space to re-discover what made us fall in love in the first place. I'll try. For the love of our boy - I'll try. First I just need a lie down and a cup of tea can of beer. Now where's my copy of Howard the Duck?

Nece52 changed to Olivia and I noticed bethnor has lost a digit too. BsM84 is not very user friendly although it's one letter shorter that BssM84 from that post hacker period. I was thinking of shortening it to B. but that seems a bit pretentious for some odd reason. My real name does actually begin with B. but that's for the real world. I thought about bsm but it sounds like be s&m or British School of Motoring (only Brits will get that). Maybe Bob. Maybe nobody really gives a shit. I swore!! 😱

Now where's my copy of Howard the Duck? no excuses. if you do the following, consideration will *perhaps* be given to returning your cevans fan membership card: you must sit in a public place with heavy passerby traffic reading chris' flaunt issue. to anyone looking at you askance, you must state innocently that you are reading it for the articles.
