sigh. first two reviews are up on RT--negative. i knew the twitter response was too good to be true. ah well. that's the nature of the beast. unfortunately i think chris' tastes runs to the sentimental. problem with RT is that it puts as negative or positive the reviews if they are talking about the movie being bad or great, there is not such thing as "mixed". all the reviews out so far are great on the acting, they praise Evans Mackenna and Duncan. but the issues on the technical aspects and the director choices, also some plots twists are too far to ignore, so the revies are mixed, in terms which whows the actors did good work but not so the director. the audience at screenings commented on this, some people just commented on how great were Evans and Grace and the emotiones they evoque but others that did more extended comments on the movie commented the camera work made them dizzy at times; also that the story was emotional but some plot twist were too convinient... so I was expecting this kind of critics' reaction.

Absolutely! I have honestly read reviews before that I thought were more positive than negative yet they've still been given the green splat.

Though they're hit and miss on grading ungraded reviews www.metacritic.com/movie/gifted?ftag=MCD-06-10aaa1c

Just off to bed. Picap thanks for all your hard work. Those last two videos, especially the last one just made me feel in love with the world! (I've had a good day). I'm feeling this period as being one of the best, most enjoyable periods of Chrisfandomship. Who gives a fuck how the film does. This is great!
