He is. Not always but on a pretty regular basis. Not sure if he really needs an assistant for play rehearsals but it's nice to have someone from home. He presumably has other business to take care of while doing the play. Plays have publicity demands as well, though not like films. While he's doing the play he's probably also doing magazine interviews and early publicity for Infinity War that has to be scheduled. There's also fan stuff, errands etc.

Chris posed for a 'member of the public' at Peter Luger Steakhouse peterluger.com in Brooklyn last night. http://instagr.am/p/BfFvPpiDSXW
I'll have a moan here where people won't think me so crazy. I hope. I was really fucked off by that smiling couple who posted the 'reverse photo bomb' of Chris in the same restaurant. What a shitty thing to do. To take a photo over your shoulder of a person having a meal with friends in a private moment is sort of understandable if that person is as famous as Chris. Not great but understandable. But WHY do you then HAVE to post it on social media so his private moment becomes a public one? One reason alone. Click bait.

Apparently been in, or going to London. No idea why, and this is when he should have been in Seattle!

Apparently been in, or going to London. No idea why, and this is when he should have been in Seattle! Where did you read that? I can see if you're coming from the States you could change in London to go on to Kiev so you'd have to have a reason for going to Kiev. I can only think of filming for a movie or some commercial work. As for the family event I have no idea if this is part of that. Why doesn't he just phone me and say?

I read elsewhere online that he was on a BA flight from London.
Maybe whatever the family thing was it had been resolved by this weekend.
I think that was very inconsiderate not to phone you Bob and advise you in advance that he was leaving the US, and why!
Maybe he's going to catch some proper football, and not this American Football rubbish he insists on watching?!?!

To tell you the truth, that's the FIRST thing I thought of! Glad it's not just me! ⚽️It is high up in my thinking processes at the moment though. I've been trying to watch as many matches as I can. Seen two today and looking forward to Colombia-Poland this evening especially as I had a Polish grandfather.

Don't mean this do you? Actually, that was Panama this afternoon but this World Cup hasn't had too much of it. btw American football - charge, stop, smash, stop, breath in, stop, breath out, stop, have a talk, stop, charge, smash, stop, throw, catch 🏈, stop. Stop.

No, that just came from personal observation. I try to avoid The Minions under Moral Objections to Really Freaking Annoying Characters. I'm not a huge American football fan (too much stopping and starting and time outs and serious brain injuries) but I'll say this for them - it's very rare for them to have a 0-0 score and they whine and flop around a lot less when they (barely) get hit.

I will concede the whining and flopping around. It's one of the most annoying things about football along with the ridiculous hair fashions and millionaire lifestyles of a minority of toss pots in the game. but I'll try to explain the score thing because 'outsiders' misunderstand this. A high scoring game loses it's interest after a while. Firstly, football is almost like a board game on feet. Getting everybody in exactly the right place to get the ball past the defence and into the net is hellishly difficult. If you watch a really good goal the run up to it starts long before it's scored. It's a bit like chess. You have to know exactly what your next few moves are going to be and where other players are likely to be etc. and then outwit the defence of the other team. Therefore if you have a really high scoring game it's usually because one team is good and the other is not so good. Although it's always exciting to see a goal, goals in lower scoring games are far more exciting. Example, England were winning against Panama by 4 - 0. The fifth and sixth goals were less exciting because we knew that Panama were not going to score 5 goals in 30 minutes so the last two goals were OK but not exciting. Germany against Sweden was incredibly exciting. Sweden were ahead by one and then Germany equalised. So only 2 goals sounds boring but it wasn't because it meant that as the clock ticked away anyone who scored was likely to win the whole match. You find yourself hiding behind cushions because every time anyone gets near to a goal it's HUGELY important. Sure enough Germany scored in the last minute and that was incredibly exciting because they still had to keep Sweden from scoring a goal in injury time. So the point of all this is that the scorelines in football/soccer are misleading to the outsider. The lower scoring matches are often more exciting because they are knife edge affairs. The really exciting possibility of a high but equal score like 8-7 is highly unlikely because if you're good enough to score that many goals your defence is going to be good enough to outmanoeuvre the other team and stop them from scoring. You are right though that a 0-0 score is nearly always boring because both teams are playing defensively and nobody is taking risks. That's the worst.
