That is actually brilliant! I'm glad Caplad is not afraid to take him on. I don't think it's politically controversial to take on the likes of Duke unless you have just accepted that extremist racist, neo-fascist views are now mainstream. That would be frankly horrifying.
I had a look at the Duke quotes Chris put a link to and some of them make your blood run cold. I also soiled my screen by having a look at his twitter thing. Ugh, he put a picture of a London street with a quote that an Afghan family was being housed there by the authorities at a cost of thousands of pounds a week. There was no direct link to the article so I did some research and it was an article from 2011 put out by the Daily Mail. The Daily Mail is notorious. It has the nickname the Daily Heil because it's still dogged by the fact that before the outbreak of war in 1935 it wrote supportive articles about that nice Mr Hitler. It was responsible for spreading a huge amount of lies about the EU. It was recently in the news that Wikipedia has banned the use of articles from the Daily Mail as 'a reliable source' because of the paper's 'poor fact checking, sensationalism and flat-out fabrication' .

have you seen this: hollywoodreporter they talk about these tweets but tey also quote the daughter of one of the co-creators on the first comics of CA, isn't it pretty safe to say we can all distinguish his political POVs are his own and not Cap´s, and that he is not Cap... and all that... but I wonder, what would she think her father's character would say at times like these, considering his father and the other writer, even had some issues censored because of the political nature of the character and material during a time in which not everyone condoned what Hittler was doing, at a time that racism and crimes against humanity were being commited

Space Nerd Returns I had a thing about space things, or astronomy as some call it, during most of my teens. I still do really but I live in a city and light pollution means you don't see much. I can still recognise a few constellations and can pick out Jupiter, Venus and Mars when they're bright.
The best thing about it though is that it gives you so much perspective. Earth really is a very small speck and none of us have any reason for an exaggerated sense of self importance.
Don't believe this. For some weird reason I just had a flash back to a French Canadian film called Jésus de Montréal and a scene in which an actor is doing a voice over for a film about the universe. I randomly searched for it on Youtube and someone has actually put it on.

Ah, this is where I've been going wrong. All these years hard labour without parole and I still get the leper treatment - "unclean!" I just need to set up a big racist, fascist organisation and then I'll get a tweet from His Actorship. Is it worth it? Nah, maybe not.

Duke and Ben Shapiro.... though Chris decided to ignore that second one, but wow! these haters really want the attention of a star to spread their hate Chris said "I genuinely dislike Ben Shapiro" a few years ago after some homophobic rant by Shapiro. He never responded to any of Shapiro's responses to that and Shapiro has one tweet liked and it's Chris' dislike tweet. Years later and he's still trying to get his attention. It's as sad as Martin Shkreli. Like our BsM (who really is such a nice young man and does not belong in this bad company) they must be frothing with jealously over David Duke who has received two whole responses (to his many revolting hateful ramblings to The Evans). I gather it's just harder to ignore the complete garbage fire of a human being who was once the Grand Imperial Wizard of the KKK who later ran for President of the United States - especially when fans keep @-ing the messages to him by the hundreds or thousands.

Don't worry, I was only saying it tongue in cheek. To be honest this whole thing is a bit of an education for me. I had no idea who these people were. I still don't really know who Shapiro is! The name David Duke rang a bell but I didn't realise that the KKK still existed. It's so depressing. How can the world seem less progressive than it did when I was a teenager? Is time going backwards? It's like Brexit. The vote to leave was a protest vote and nobody thought they'd win. Now apart from the hardcore Brexiters it's like we're trundling down a hill and nobody really wants to go but someone's disconnected the breaks. Everyone here btw has been watching Melissa McCarthy's piss take of Sean Spicer. We don't get SNL on our tv but we've been watching it on Youtube. I showed some of it to my mum last night and she cracked up when she was talking about 80% of Chicago having been murdered. In the run up to the referendum we were getting increasingly blatant lying here too so it rings a bell. I'm not happy with the implication that the UK is unsafe because of terrorism if you look at this en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_terrorist_incidents_in_Great_Britain you'll see the main perpetrators in the last 50 years have been the IRA but I don't recall anyone wanting to ban the Irish from travelling. In fact we have passport free travel between the Irish Republic and the UK!

Uuugh...I don't get it? Racism is just plain dumb <_< When I was in year 3 or 4 the other kids started using racial slurs towards me, calling me chink and faking dodgy stereotypical accents of the Orient... (7/8 year olds) I didn't understand it then, and now I realise it was more than likely due to the ignorance of the other kids' parents, telling thier children I was different and that means bad right? I'm from the south coast of England. My part of town is not particularly diverse. Just around the corner is a Naval town, people from all over. The fact that "grown ups" thought I was some kind of problem or lesser being is even more ridiculous when I tell you that I'm "white" just like every other kid in my class How dumb is that? They can't even tell when another human is actually the same "race" as them! Idiots lol Besides, hasn't it been proven through dna studies that every human is about 99.9% related to every other? This Duke guy believes the White race is superior? and yet he still seems to be not much more than a wanker....sorry I hope Chris just ignores him, it's not worth any of his 140 characters Gah, I need more puppy pictures and telescopes lol

I went in to read Ben Shapiro's twitter when I saw one (ONE!) article referring to Shapiro's "great burn" on Evans because David Duke supported a democrat (who has history of anti-semitic comment, so it's all the same) but anyway, I went in and I felt dirty!! like I needed a shower to feel clean after reading: homphobic, pro-life, racist. sexist comments, followed with a lot of RTs to those who think alike and praise his comments, a video of him being an asshole answering questions at some talk he gave, and RT to the only 3rd class media outlet who did the article on him "burning" Evans on twitter, so he is also narcissist!!
then David Duke and all the posts he did, it wasn't just the ones with the pics of Evans posing for pics with black women or his ex girlfriend who happens to be Jewish; it's also screen-caps on CE's biography and all the anti-semitic comments following it because the guy plays a character that was created by two Jewish men. But Chris just answered the one that was about "hating his women" and I wonder like who are "his women"? "his kind"? American women? because American women are of all colors and religions. Anyway Chris defined it perfectly, the guy hates because of all that anger and fear.
And JenSai, I get you, I don't understand why people judge race, like we were breeding races that shouldn't mix, as the breeding done with dogs. We human have no race, we all have the same genetic with diferent phenotypic characteristics because of how different each gene express in the cells, regarding skin color hair or eyes colors.

I've been to Poland a couple of types and have visited Auschwitz twice and it kept going through my mind - how? There are no such things as monsters. Just people who behave monstrously. So how does an ordinary human being reach the point that they can kill children on an industrial scale? The answer is not too complicated. Firstly, you get used to it. I remember at school being shown an old video of an interview with a man who'd been in an extermination camp as a guard and he said the first time he had to take part in the killing he was sick and said to a colleague who'd just killed some kids 'how can you do that?' The guy just answered 'it's crap at first but you just get used to it'. The banality of evil.
But the real start is when you convince yourself that someone is genuinely, genetically less than you, that they're not equally human. Not in the same way as you are. Killing Jewish kids is not the same as killing 'real' kids. It's different. They don't count in the same way so you're doing something not quite so bad. You can excuse yourself. It's incredibly important to realise that Auschwitz (or Ruanda or Bosnia or Syria) is where it leads. Once you give yourself the excuse to label someone as 'not quite the same' you've taken the first step on that road and a journey of a thousand miles begins with just one step as they say.
Christopher Bob says to Duke that the love is in him somewhere. I guess it's possible. Some people can be cured.
