Man that was a hoot to watch! Loved how he teased, "I love the color", and Leno teased back with him about it being like talking cars with your mother (unless your mother is like mine, and could out-talk Jay Leno about cars). They seemed to get along pretty well, and Chris Evans didn't seem as tensed up as he often is during one on one interviews. It was also nice to see him having fun, when he got the hang of driving that fast in the silver camero. Loved his exit though. Such a sassy nerd. And how cool was it, that they had a CAP stunt man being his tutor?

I've never related to him so much I never related to him more, than when he talked about driving his Jeep Cherokee.

This was fun, and it’s the kind of stuff I enjoy, press junkets get repetitive, talk shows are nice, but this was fabulous... Plus my husband is a huge car guy... he has been buying junk cars since he was 11 and working on them.. we always have motors and parts, and beat up muscle cars in our garage, never any room for my car, so being on the east coast, I’m always shoveling out my car to go to work... he loved the cars in London and Playing it Cool, if it has crank windows, we smile 😊

Granted, I also miss when it was a standard thing for cars to have a glovebox that locked (my newest car does - but the last four cars my uncles bought didn't, none of my friends' cars do, etc.).

Oh I know , I put a trailer hitch on my truck, and now it won’t lock, without the alarm going off when it’s in park, completely fried... so it constantly gets broken into... last time, someone actually stole a pair of sweatpants and a monkees cassette... REALLY... so if my glove compartment didn’t lock, I’d be lost... my ice scraper, troll doll pen, hand sanitizer and 1000 car wash receipts would be gone... 🚙

Friend of mine actually got a gun safe installed in his center console. I don't remember how much it cost, but that way he could keep his pistol in there, under lock and key (don't worry, he has the proper permits/training/etc.), so when he needed it at work, he didn't have to worry. But from what he said, you can get after-market safes and such installed in cars, and it isn't as crazily expensive as he thought it would be, especially if you don't need one with the foam/locks/etc. for a gun - you just want like a normal, basic, fire proof safe.
