Edit This is now quite a long thread as we had the build up to each of the stories but I'm guessing a lot of visitors just want to get straight to the full stories and we have all three. So I'm putting links here for a fast jump to the stories. Enjoy. 1. Even Superheroes Have Bad Days. chris-evans.boards.net/post/2172/thread
2. Good Night, Good Night Construction Site. chris-evans.boards.net/post/2484/thread
3. Good Night, World. chris-evans.boards.net/post/2815/thread
I'll also just add a quick explanation for non-UK people. The BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) has a long history of having programmes for children and bedtime stories. In the modern age of cable and satellite channels there are now several BBC channels. CBeebies is a BBC channel for younger children and every night at just before 7 they have a bedtime story which will be read by usually an actor. It's quite a British tradition and a bit of an honour to be asked to do it. For Chris to be asked to read a bedtime story is a bit like being accepted into the family!!

Great news that it's not just the one story. I hope you guys in Americaland can see them by the way. They ARE on CBEEbies iPlayer website but they can be tricky to watch abroad sometimes. I practiced downloading one of the previous bedtime stories and converting it to put on vimeo and it worked so hopefully I'll be able to do it for Chris's when they are posted. Sometimes people do manage to get them onto YT. Like I found one of the James McAvoy ones. Bit of background information. The tradition of the bedtime story for kids on BBC radio and television goes back a very long time. Going back to when my parents were little the person reading the stories always, always started by saying the same thing: "are you sitting comfortably? Then we'll begin." I think they continue the tradition by saying something similar before they start each story. I really am over the moon that our boy is doing this. It kind of hammers home his status over here!! Like he's an honorary member of the family.

I'm wearing out the "like" button again! Lol So I've checked my TiVo 4 times already, making sure it doesn't overlap with anything else...or just not record! It's making me quite anxious actually, as my TiVo has failed me in the past <_< Got my Marvel comics bedspread/duvet cover on the bed...my captain america plush (funko fabrikation) is ready too. My Cap build a bear has gone walkies though...typically ^_^ ... ... ...did I mention that I don't have kids?
